Log in name is 1st Edition is still better. Yes, I prefer 1st Edition over 3.5 edition.

Character so far...Barak Hightower

Description: A human, 6'8 tall 264 lbs mountain of a man. Red hair in pony tail and hazel eyes. Has a goatee. Thighs are trunk size with arms thick as thighs. A fierce warrior on the battlefield, causing fear into the enemies as he weilds his mighty axe, slicing his foes into two. Off the battlefield, the man is easy going and children seem to love him and there, you see a man who has a heart of gold. Easy going, laid back at times. Loves a good fight but rarely causes one without a good cause. He seems a picture perfect barbarian except his eyes shows much intelligence.

Background: His father Harak, of the Tiger nomads tribe was leading a small group in tracking down a tribe of hill giants who had not only attacked the nomads but taken a sacred axe. Upon tracking them down, he came across a female prisoner who turned out to be a princess. While being escorted to another kingdom for an arranged marriage to their prince who she did not like, the party was attacked by a band of gnolls. Only her and her servant were left alive as they were taken prisoners. The gnolls seem to be lead by someone or something as they traveled for days. They came across a band of bugbears and handed them a chest and the girls. The bugbears then went on their own journey and met a band of orcs. After some talk, there was a bit of argument and seems a fight was going to happen but things settled down after the bugbears handed the princess's servent over to the orcs. The princess never saw her again but will always remember the screams she heard. The bugbears then came across the hill giants and formed with them. A dark figure in robes appeared and formed the creatures in orderly fashion. The giants would take the plains and deal with the nomads while the bugbears would head into the forest to deal with the pesky elves who were allies with the nomads.

It was during the evening when Harak, to his surprise came across the princess. Once he found the sacred axe, he took the weapon and the girl and they managed to sneak back out and back to the barbarian camp. War broke out across the land as the forest elves and the human barbarians fought together against the creatures. Harak, the tribe top warrior handed his leader the axe which turned out to be quite powerful for it glowed a bright orange as he struck his enemies down. After days went by, the creatures suddenly stopped and seemed confused. The bugbears had fled back to their homeland as the giants went back to their hills, confused as why they were at war. The dark figure was nowhere to be seen.

Being competely lost, princess Karina had fallen in love with her rescuer. Soon after, her and Harak had married and later had a child, a boy they named Barak. While growing up, he was taught of both worlds. While his father taught him to fight, hunt and survive, his mother taught him manners, schooled him and taught him the proper way to speak which at times, irked the father who only would laugh later on. During anger and in a rush, Barak will act and speak like a typical barbarian but when calm, he can speak perfectly....when he choses to. He seems not want to bother unless necessary.
